Asbestos/Nailite Siding Painted Wood SidingWe use the same steps to clean this type siding, but it takes a bit longer
since it requires multiple applications of detergent.

A Note on Aluminum siding, awnings and shutters.
If the Aluminum is over 15 years old it will have some oxidation.
This is caused by the elements and can be identified by looking to any area
receiving little or no sun, and areas shaded by trees or bushes.
It occurs where there is shade for long periods, under overhangs, the north side of
the home and undersides of awnings.
There will be pitting, and very little colorant left in areas damaged by oxidation.
These areas will be dramatically improved by a wash but will never come back to their
original condition. Chalking also occurs over time. Rub a finger on the siding, if your finger
